Bishop attends Santo Christo Feast in Azores

Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., recently visited St. Michael’s in the Azores for its annual Santo Christo Feast. Bishop da Cunha was an honored guest at the feast, which is the biggest religious festival in the Azores Islands, traditionally held on the fifth Sunday after Easter. The Festas do Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres (Lord Holy Christ of the Miracles) dates back to the end of the 17th century. [Photos by Deacon Alan Thadeu]
